What better way to celebrate Europe in Florence than by paying hommage to the city that was among the first to shine as one of the world's cultural capitals?

The historical group "Sbandieratori e Musici della Signoria di Firenze" with the "Compagnia dell'Aquila Bianca," in collaboration with the Europe Direct Centre of Florence - Department of Youth, Università e Ricerca and the City of Florence, are pleased to present to all of Europe the grace, strength and dexterity (grazia, forza e destrezza) of the Court of the Magnificent at the "Notte Blu - Europe in 27 hours."

Grazia, Forza e Destrezza have decided to perform the Renaissance Fencing Dance in armour to demonstrate the classic art, as choreographed by Lorenzo de'Medici - whose close circle of intellectuals artists helped imortalize Florence for all eternity.

Held in the Piazza della Repubblica, the geographical and historic center of the city, the public can relive the early Florentine renaissance - a world of graceful ladies, powerful and experienced flag-bearing riders, and the art that live on today.
